Gaughan Homes Inc. was founded in 2005 by Danny Gaughan with a simple goal: build quality homes with honesty and transparency at every stage.
From the beginning, our focus has been on creating strong relationships with our clients while delivering smart design and high-quality construction that meets their vision and expectations.
We believe a home should not only look beautiful, but it should also be durable, efficient, and built to perform well in Wyoming’s climate for years to come.
A Builder by Passion
Ever since he was a child, Danny’s family knew he would grow up to build homes. He was always constructing something — from wooden blocks and Legos to projects built from scrap lumber.
Before starting Gaughan Homes Inc., Danny gained valuable experience working with some of America’s largest builders. During that time, he helped build single-family homes, multi-family developments, and light commercial projects.
In 2005, he brought that experience home and established Gaughan Homes.
Today, building homes isn’t just a profession, it’s a passion rooted in pride, craftsmanship, community, and doing the job the right way.
Outside of work, Danny enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time outdoors — the same lifestyle many of our clients appreciate here in Star Valley.

Recently, Danny and his son Carter earned their private pilot licenses in Afton, Wyoming, a reminder that dedication, discipline, and attention to detail matter whether you’re building homes or flying aircraft. Those same principles guide every project we take on.
